What we collect

Postal code (to determine area water conditions); assessment answers (water symptoms, home age, water source, household size, bathrooms, appliances, goals, timeline, and any note you choose to type); name and email only if you choose to provide them to receive your report (optional). No account required, no payment information collected.

If you arrive at our site from an online ad, we may collect the ad-click identifier (such as Google's gclid) and basic campaign tags included in the link. We use these only to understand which ads bring visitors to the site. They are not used to track you across other websites, and we do not use cookies to collect them.

Why we collect it

To generate a tailored water treatment recommendation; to email your report if you provide your email; to allow King Plumbing to follow up about your assessment and services.

How your information is stored

Stored in a secure database hosted in Canada; retained as long as needed to provide our services and follow up; you may request deletion at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. Providers: Anthropic (Claude AI generates your recommendation; your answers are sent to Anthropic, which may process data outside Canada); Resend (delivers your report email if you opt in); Supabase (database, stores data in Canada); Vercel (hosting + privacy-friendly cookieless analytics that count page views without identifying you).

Cookies and tracking

The website does not use cookies or store anything on your device; analytics are cookieless and do not identify individual visitors.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you may access, request correction of, or request deletion of your personal information; email admin@king-plumbing.ca to make a request.
